We will have a beautiful view of the Nevado Veronica and also walk near to the Vilcanota river until we arrive to the archaeological complex of Llactapata, located 2,750 m / 9,022 ft Place where we will have lunch and then continue up to our first camp at Wuayllabamba to 3,000 m / 9,842 ft where will be the dinner we will spend the first night.
After an energetic breakfast we start the most difficult part of the hike but not impossible, where we will walk toward the highest point in the Inca Trail where we have an incredible panoramic view of the whole area and you will be able to observe different types of microclimates that exists in the area of this Andean valley.
